When I was hungry...

The Connection Cafe depends on the generosity of our friends, to continue our day to day operations. We have been blessed by the generosity of many individuals, churches and other groups, that have made contributions to the Cafe and we are so thankful. The work that we do is dependent upon a sustainable level of giving. If you are able to help us with a contribution during this time of economic stress and uncertainty, it would be greatly appreciated. Some of our supporters have decided to give monthly contributions to help with our expenses, others give once or twice a year, but whatever you can do to help feed the homeless and low income population in downtown Des Moines would be greatly appreciated.

• $168 helps feed a family of 4 four a month
• $520 helps feed a single person for one year
